Common Questions

Short answers on records, review, points, and setup.

What a Record Holds

Which record types does Suggestion System cover?

Suggestion, kaizen, near miss, and success story run in one portal. Near miss is a record type inside HSE. The lesson learned sits in the success story text. Form fields differ by area; review steps are shared.

What does the author do when revision is requested?

They read the note, correct the requested field, and send the same record again. A new record is not opened. The file waits on the same step.

Who can see a record?

The author sees their own record. Evaluators and managers see records on the steps their role covers. Another organization's records do not appear in the list.

Where do file attachments go?

Photos and documents attach to the record form. The review screen opens the same files. There is no separate folder to check.

Modules

Can an unused module be turned off?

Which record types are open is an organization setting. Unused modules do not appear in the menu.

Cloud or Server

What is the difference between cloud and company server?

Portal capabilities match. The difference is access address, data location, and whether marketing pages are public.

Can review steps be changed?

Step names follow your procedure. Each step leaves rationale on the record.

How do reward points work?

Approved contributions earn points. Staff request items from the reward catalog; rules sit in administration.

How is the demo reviewed?

The live demo link opens the sample organization. Use the contact form for an organization-specific demo.

How do multiple sites work?

Company, site, and unit are chosen on the record. Lists filter on those fields. Each site does not install a separate product.
